Open Notes

August 1. This is the first day in seven years I haven’t had an office to go to. After my youngest son was born, I worked at home for his first year. Then I had co working spaces. CoLoft, no longer exists. WeWork, loud and frantic. Real Office Center, old Google HQ, shut down. Westside Village in LA, Westside Village in Santa Monica, one open, the other closed. Spaces, a ghost town. I’m out of all of them. Just working at home. Just like I did when my son was born eight years ago. It’s a cycle. I’m back at the top of the circle.
